Tall perennial with beautiful golden flowers for a low maintenance garden.  Anthemis tinctoria is commonly known as golden marguerite, or golden chamomile, or dyer's chamomile.  The plant grows from 1-3' tall and wide in full sun.  Will not tolerate clay but otherwise is an easygoing plant.  Zones 4-6.  The plant has been used as a medicinal for it's antispasmodic and diaphoretic properties.  The leaves have been used to rub insect bites to relieve pain and start healing.  The golden yellow flowers produce a yellow dye that is valued by natural dyers.
