I believe that plants can be enjoyed in many, many ways. One way is reinterpreted as art. In my case, my art tends to the practical. Botanical themed designs appliqued onto useful items for the home. You can find my work in person at local farmers markets and art festivals, and all the time at my Etsy Shop.
My designs are all original and are created using a combination of free motion machine applique, hand embroidery and/or beading, and painting. What they don’t include are embroidery machines, or any other computerized assistance. One woman, her sewing machine, imagination and love of plants.
